Angola, Cape Verde, Comoros, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Brazil and some Asian countries.
This Regional Office is located in the city of Ebene, 15 km south of Port Louis, the capital city of the Republic of Mauritius. In order to service its extended geographical territory, the Office uses the key business languages of the countries covered: English, French and Portuguese.

Ms Pamela Machiri joined Africa Re in December 2018 as Underwriting and Marketing Manager in charge of treaty and facultative in Portuguese Speaking Markets in Africa and Brazil.
Ms Pamela Machiri holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Marketing specialism) with the University of Leicester (UK), a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice with the Chartered Management Institute (UK), a Bachelor’s degree in Media & Society Studies from the Midlands State University (Zimbabwe) and a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (UK). She is currently studying towards an Advanced Diploma in Insurance with the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (UK).
She started her career as a Journalist, and later a Public Relations Officer at ZimTrade in Zimbabwe, before joining the insurance industry with Hollard Insurance Mozambique. She joined Hollard as a Bancassurance Relationship Officer, and rose up the ladder to Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Business Development Manager. Ms Machiri joined Africa Re from Zep-Re (PTA Reinsurance Company) where she worked as a Regional Underwriter.
