Africa Re (South Africa) hosted its first post-Covid-19 lockdown corporate cocktail event on the 9th of November 2022 at Summer Place, Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
This was an opportunity for the Africa Re (South Africa)’s management team and our Board of Directors to reconnect with all our partners in the industry and to thank them for their continued support and service to the company.
Africa Re also took the opportunity of this event to recognize, celebrate and thank our long-serving and outgoing directors, Messrs. Ibrahim Ibisomi, Haile-Michael Kumsa and Phillip Pettersen, as well as our pioneer Board Chairman, Mr. Bakary Kamara.
Africa Re (South Africa)’s Managing Director, Mr. Andy Tennick, announced at this event the launch of Africa Re (South Africa)’s Life Reinsurance business division and introduced the newly appointed General Manager (Life Division), Mr. Pranil Sharma.
